Arsosala washing station serves around 1,200 smallholder farmers in Guji’s Urga district. Farmers deliver cherries directly to the station, where they are paid for by weight. The coffee is sorted, processed, and dried on raised beds. The station showcases the vibrant, high-quality character that Guji is known for. This is the Special Preparation Lot, which refers to an extra sorting process prior to fermentation to ensure only the super ripe cherries are used. Giving the overall coffee more consistency and uniformity.
